Woman Stabbed Outside Home In Folsom Dies; Suspect In Custody

FOLSOM (CBS13) - Police have arrested a man accused of fatally stabbing his wife in Folsom.

Around 4:30 a.m. Monday, a man and a woman were outside of a home near McFarland Drive when, for reasons unknown, the man allegedly stabbed the woman. She was taken by ambulance to Sutter Roseville hospital with serious injuries and later died, according to Folsom Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Sharon Blackburn.

Officers say they canvassed the area looking for the suspect and eventually found him hiding in the yard of a nearby home along Gallager Drive and McFarland Court.

Police have identified the suspect as 28-year-old Justin Anthony Jesus of Orangevale. He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of murder and domestic violence.

Police have not identified the victim.
