Woman Robbed After Having Car Rear-Ended In Elk Grove
ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Police say a woman was robbed by a man from a car who rear-ended her car Wednesday morning.
The incident happened along the 8600 block of Power Inn Road. According to the Elk Grove Police Department, 40-year-old Hien Nguyen's car was hit from behind by another car just after 7:30 a.m.
Nguyen went out to check the damage to her car and passenger in the other car also got out. However, the man soon made his way over the Nguyen's car, reached in and snatched her purse.
Police say Nguyen tried to take her purse back only to have it ripped from her hands.
The man eventually got back in the car and left.
Few details on the suspects have been given. Police say Nguyen was not hurt in the incident.
