Woman Found Shot Dead In South Modesto
MODESTO (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating a homicide after a woman was found shot to death in south Modesto.
Deputies got to the scene along the 400 block of E. Hatch Road around 12:30 a.m., the Stanislaus County Sheriff says, and found a woman who had been shot.
Medics soon arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
The woman's identity has not been released.
Detectives are processing the scene and are asking any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information relevant to the case is asked to call detectives at (209) 525-7080.
