Woman Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend To Death In South LA

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police have arrested a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of stabbing her boyfriend to death during an argument.

Officer Tony Im says officers at the scene reported that the couple was arguing at a South LA home Saturday when the man tried to strangle the woman.

Im says the woman grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the 34-year-old man several times. He died from his wounds at a hospital.

Officials say Katrina Jeaneene Rawls could face charges including murder. She is held on $2 million bail. It wasn't immediately known if she has an attorney.
