Wind Forces 2 Hot Air Balloons To Land Right Next To Freeway In Winters

WINTERS (CBS13) – A windy day forced a couple of hot air balloons to land right next to the freeway in Winters late Friday morning.

The scene was on the right shoulder of Interstate 505, near the Highway 128 intersection in Winters.

According to California Highway Patrol officials, the balloons had to land due to windy conditions.

No one was hurt in the incident, CHP says.

It's unclear exactly which company or event the balloons came from.

Only in Yolo!!!....This morning, due to the windy conditions out in Winters, 2 hot air balloons had to land on the right shoulder of I-505 near SR-128. Fortunately no one was hurt.
