Will Ferrell Playing With The A's?

Will Ferrell is a comedian; not a baseball player. That is something we can all agree on. Well, that's not stopping him! Ferrell plans on playing in the Cactus League on Thursday, March 11th.

Ferrell plans on playing in all the positions for five different games during Spring Training. The stunt is not for a movie but to bring awareness for cancer. HBO, Funny Or Die, and MLB will be coordinating the charity stunt.

CBS Sports reported, Ferrell will play in the A's vs. Mariners game. Jane Lee tweeted that Ferrell will be playing the shortstop position for the Oakland Athletics.

Ferrell playing in every position will act as tribute to Bert Campaneris, who performed the rare feat for the Kansas City Athletics on September 8, 1965.

The other games Ferrell will appear in include: Dodgers vs. Padres, Cubs vs. Angels, White Sox vs. Giants, Reds vs. Diamondbacks. The Anchorman star will go from game to game via helicopter.
