Where To Send Cards For Injured CHP Officer Michael Ericson

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A California Highway Patrol officer who was allegedly run over intentionally by a motorist remains in critical condition, but is stable.

Officer Michael Ericson was allegedly struck by the motorist on Thursday in what investigators are calling an intentional act.

While no account has been set up for Ericson and his family, the CHP is asking people to send cards to him through their department.

The address is:

North Sacramento CHP
C/O Officer Ericson
5109 Tyler Street
Sacramento, CA 95841

The CHP recommends against sending flowers or gifts, since he cannot have them in the hospital at this time.

Austin Scott, 28, faces nine felony charges, including evading police and assault with a deadly weapon, in the hit-and-run crash that injured Ericson.
