Wet Weather Returns, Most Action Will Be In Foothills And Mountains

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Wet weather is moving back into Northern California, but don't expect too much in the valley.

Most of the action will be in the in the foothills and mountains - with rain totals topping 1" or more.

A Flash Flood Watch will be in effect for the King Fire burn area in El Dorado County and the Butte Fire burn area in Calaveras and Amador counties from 10 a.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday.

The snow level is expected to be above 8000' for most of Friday, but will come down to about 4500' come night in Saturday.

Forecasters expect about 1-3 feet of snow to fall in higher elevations.
