Off-Duty West Sacramento Police Officer Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The West Sacramento Police Department says one of their officers was arrested on suspicion of DUI while off duty.
The arrest happened Thursday night at around 11:40 p.m. According to California Highway Patrol's Solano Division, Officer Marc Marquez was arrested after someone reported seeing a gray sedan driving suspiciously.
A Solano County Sheriff's Department deputy then pulled Marquez over along westbound Interstate 80 at Dixon Avenue.
The deputy said Marquez showed signs of being under the influence and arrested him.
West Sacramento police say the officer was not on duty at the time. California Highway Patrol will be handling the investigation.
