Body Of Man Who Suffered Gunshot Wound Found In West Roseville

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) – Detectives are investigating a homicide in a rural area near Roseville.
The scene is along Sunset Boulevard West and Fiddyment Road. The Placer County Sheriff's Office says around 8 a.m. a farmer spotted what looked like the body of a man on the side of the road.
Medics who first got to the scene confirmed it was indeed the body of a man. It appears the man had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
The man has only been identified as an Asian male. No other details about the incident have been released.
Sunset Boulevard West is closed west of Fiddyment Road due to the investigation. Expect the road to be closed for several hours.
