WATCH: Sac Republic FC's Rodrigo Lopez Midfield Goal

Sacramento Republic FC beat the the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, 2-0. The win wasn't the only exciting thing from last night's match.

Midfielder Rodrigo Lopez made one of the hardest goals a soccer player could ever make. A shot from midfield! At the 71st minute, Lopez launched a right-foot kick over the Whitecaps players and into the net. Check out the goal above!

Republic is now 3-2-0 for the season. Next game is at Bonney Field this Saturday, 4/18/15, against the Portland Timbers FC 2.
