There's nothing like adding fuel to a great rivalry and Madison Bumgarner did just that when he hit Yasiel Puig during the first inning of the Giants 4-2 loss in Los Angeles.
Bumgarner told the Chronicle that he didn't hit Puig on purpose. "He'll know if it's on purpose, which that one wasn't. I'll make sure of that," Bumgarner said.
Will Bumgarner and Puig ever be friends? "I don't think that's in the cards for us," Bumgarner said following the game.
