Man Arrested After Overnight Following SWAT Standoff In Del Paso Heights

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A standoff that started Monday night in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood of Sacramento came to an end Tuesday morning.

Around 11 a.m. Monday, police officers went to the residence in the 2600 block of Connie Drive to arrest the man, in his early 30s, wanted on unspecified charges, but he refused to come out. SWAT officers were called out to the home, according to a Sacramento Police Department statement.

Around the same time, nearby residents were evacuated from their homes.

The man later surrendered peacefully to police.
