Vigil Planned For Boy, 11, Killed In Accidental Shooting

STOCKTON (CBS13) - A candlelight vigil is scheduled for Friday for the 11-year-old boy shot in the head in Stockton.

According to the coroner's office, the little boy - now identified as Tahj Harris - died on Sunday after being shot last Thursday in the front yard of his family's home.

Police believe the shooting was accidental.

Neighbors say they saw the boy playing in the yard with his older brother moments before they heard the shot.

Investigators found the gun underneath the boy's body.

The vigil is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday outside the family's home on Ledgewood Avenue.
