VIDEO: Math Teacher Grieving Over Death Of Cat Surprised By Students

A teacher grieving over the loss of her beloved cat was given a pleasant surprise by her students.

Tonya Andrews' 16-year-old cat recently passed away. Andrews - a math teacher at Joshua High School in Joshua, Texas - cried in class last week when telling her students.

To try and help her feel better, four students and a mother at the school decided to do something special for Andrews - surprising her with kittens.

Junior Rachel Hanhart captured the touching moment on video and posted it to Twitter. It has quickly gone viral.

"Are they mine?" Andrews says in the video.

The two kittens have since been named Missy and Girlie.
