Vacaville Residents Notice Typo On Brand New Freeway Sign
VACAVILLE (CBS13) - There was a little something wrong with a brand-new freeway sign in Vacaville.
Caltrans District 4 recently put up a new sign on eastbound Interstate 80. The sign was supposed to display the Interstate 505 exit to Redding and Winters.
There was just one problem: Redding was spelled as "Reddinig."
The City of Vacaville posted a little note on Caltrans District 4's Facebook page alerting them of the situation.
Hi there ... City of Vacaville here ... you have probably already heard about this, but just in case, there's a little typo on a sign from 80 east to 5050 east toward Redding...

The sign was "corrected" by Tuesday morning. In pictures posted on social media, it looks as if Caltrans only covered up the extra "i," leaving "Redding" looking a little disjointed.
