Firefighters Douse Fire At Vacaville Hay Plant

VACAVILLE (CBS13) – Firefighters made quick work of flames burning at a hay processing plant.

The fire broke out about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on Eubanks Drive. About 4,500 tons of hay were inside.

Firefighters quickly got the flames under control and were able to contain it to the business' machinery. Heavy smoke was one of the primary concerns.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
