Vacant Home In Rio Linda Goes Up In Smoke

RIO LINDA (CBS13) – A vacant Rio Linda home was damaged in a fire early Thursday morning.

The scene is along Dry Creek Road, near C Street.

Sacramento Metro Fire crews responded around 5:15 a.m. and found the home engulfed in flames.

Firefighters had to close Dry Creek Road between C Street and Ascot Parkway due to water supply operations.

No injuries have been reported.

Exactly what caused the fire is under investigation.
