Union Bank Glitch Causing Problems With Customers' Online Accounts, ATM Transactions

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A technical glitch is turning into a headache for Union Bank customers. They say they're unable to do things like withdrawing cash from ATMs.

People throughout the West Coast are reporting problems accessing their union bank accounts online and at ATMs. The bank says the service outage will be resolved by 6 p.m.

A statement on UnionBank.com reads:

"During a routine, back office update, we experienced an unanticipated delay in overnight processing that affected various systems, including online banking and ATMs. We are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible and will communicate with customers once we have more information. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused any of our customers."
