Unconscious Man Pulled From Burning Car In L.A.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles Police Department officers pulled an unconscious man from a car that went up in flames after a collision.

Police say Officers Daniel Navarro and Junior McKeekin arrived to an accident scene around 2:45 a.m. Friday to two mangled cars in the roadway in the Hollenbeck area. They soon found the driver of one of the cars slumped over the driver's seat, and the car fully engulfed in flames.

The officers broke the window, forced the driver's door open, and pulled the unconscious man to safety.

Both drivers involved in the wreck had non-life-threatening injuries and are in stable condition.
