U.S. Solider Dead And Three Others Injured During Raid In Yemen

SACRAMENTO, CA (CBS13) Sunday morning, U.S. launched a surprise raid in central Yemen by landing troops off of aircraft. A battle on the ground killed one U.S. soldier and injured three others. The U.S. aircraft was intentionally damaged during the raid and was unable to fly.

The attack lasted about 45 minute and killed three alleged senior al-Qaida leaders and 14 fighter. Soldiers also found information that could provide insight into future terror plans.
