Truck Driver Injured In Fiery Crash Off Southbound I-5 In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) — A fiery crash caused a big backup in Stockton Friday afternoon.

A truck went off southbound Interstate 5 near Monte Diablo Avenue, spilled his load and the rig caught fire, CHP said.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

Amazingly the driver survived were being told. Traffic is completely stopped on I-5 SB as a semi truck carrying lumber drove off the freeway caught fire below. Reportedly the driver survived. . #Stockton Video: @itsruiz510

Officers said the driver was hauling wood.
