Tree Falls Onto, Damages House In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Wednesday night's wet and windy weather knocked down a large pine tree in Sacramento, taking down power lines before crashing into a house.

It happened on Riverview Court in the Little Pocket area.

One person was home when the tree came crashing inside.

"I came out here and saw the limb coming through the ceiling, then I went out that door and saw that the [power lines] were down," Reynaldo Fonseca said. "So I came back inside the house because I didn't want to get electrocuted."

Dozens of people in the area were still without power in the neighborhood throughout the early morning hours.
