Tree Falls Across Walkway On South Side Of State Capitol

A tree has fallen on the south side security gate at the state capitol.

The location of the tree is along N Street. It's not immediately known what may have caused the tree to topple. A grounds employee says the tree fell over late last night.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

If you enter the capitol on that side of the building, you'll need to find an alternate route, as the area could be closed for some time.
