Train Partially Derailed In Escalon After Collision With Cattle Hauler

ESCALON (CBS13) — A train was partially derailed Wednesday evening in Escalon after a collision with a cattle hauler, police said.

The incident happened at Lone Tree and Van Allen Road around 3:30 p.m.

There are reports that upwards of 50 cows died in the crash.

Police say there may be train and vehicle traffic backups.
