- Lauren Chiong, KHTK/Sacramento
Imagine Curt Schilling's surprise on Saturday when he learned his son had accidentally left a toy grenade in his bag as they approached security at Boston's Logan airport. The former Major League pitcher tweeted out the events as they unfolded in a kind of social media play-by-play:
Start your day with this. Going through airport security. Son says "DAD! I think I lefts fake grenade in my bag" Belt stops, 15m later.....

But not until 15 TSA agents are on their walkie talkies. Police show up and everyone in line is shoed 50 yards away. Police, TSA could not..

Have been cooler once they realized what was happening.

NECN reports that Schilling was given a chance in a "private room" to clarify that the grenade was only a toy. The episode was quickly resolved and no delays were reported.
