Tipping At Joe's Crab Shack Could Soon Be A Thing Of The Past

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Joe's Crab Shack is testing the waters of a restaurant with a no-tipping policy.

The chain revealed Tuesday that 18 of its 131 restaurants will be implementing the policy.

"While we're still early in the test phase, we are receiving very positive feedback from our guests and our employees," said company CEO Ray Blanchette in a report from Nation's Restaurant News.

Locations will be raising menu prices to compensate for the no-tipping policy.

It is unclear which locations will be testing out the policy and if the Old Sacramento location is on the list.
