Tim Tebow Now Wants To Play In MLB

Tim Tebow has given up on his dreams of being an NFL quarterback and is now trying to break into Major League Baseball, according to multiple reports.

The 29-year-old Tebow apparently has been training for the past year, working on his fielding and hitting skills.

While it's been a while since he played baseball full time, Tebow did play for the University of Florida's baseball team in his junior year and managed a .494 batting average.

Tebow's NFL career flamed out after stints with the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and preseason showcases with the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite joining ESPN as an analyst for their college football coverage, Tebow said in statements that he will "continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL."

ESPN said Tebow will continue to be a broadcaster for the time being even as he chases after a baseball career.
