Tiger Fire burns 117 acres in Amador County

The evacuation order in Amador County was lifted as crews make progress on the Tiger Fire near Pioneer, but an evacuation warning is still in effect.

The fire is along the 28000 block of Tiger Creek Road. Crews had said the fire was burning at a moderate rate of spread. The forward progress has since been stopped.

As of Sunday morning, the fire was at 118 acres and 20% contained. All aircraft were released from the scene and crews will remain at the scene to work on the fire.
