Three Remaining Men Who Eluded Placer Deputies Now in Custody

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) - Placer County Sheriff's Deputies have located and arrested the remaining three men who they have been searching for since Wednesday.

Deputies originally began looking for four men, identified as Mexican Nationals, Wednesday afternoon after the group fled from a traffic stop. Officials tell CBS 13, the men were stopped around 2 p.m. but when the deputy investigated the identity of the four he learned at least one of them had a felony warrant out for his arrest. The group ran from the deputy shortly after one of the men was placed into handcuffs.

One of the men, 25-year-old Pedro Madrigal Otriz, was located Thursday morning and taken into custody after he was found hiding in a ditch near Finning Mill Roadwhile, deputies say.

The remaining suspects, Ruben Villejas, 26; Dimas Licea Ortiz, 22; Jose Luis Licea Ortiz, 20 were arrested Friday night, although the details of their arrest have not yet been released.

In a Tweet, deputies say the three who remained at large were unarmed, cooperative, uninjured and tired when they were located.
