Threatening Text Prompts Precautionary Lockdown At Tuolumne County Elementary School

TUOLUMNE COUNTY (CBS13) – A school in rural Tuolumne County is on a precautionary lockdown as authorities investigate a threatening text message sent to one of their students.

According to the Tuolumne County sheriff, law enforcement officers are at Belleview Elementary School on Wednesday investigating.

Exactly what was stated in the text message is unclear.

Deputies say all students are safe.
