This Week: 'The View' Adds Raven-Symone & Iggy Azalea Gets Replaced

This week, there's a new co-host in town and a rapper's homophobic tweets get her replaced.

1. A New View

"The View" has found its new co-host in the openly gay and usually outspoken Raven-Symone. As of Wednesday, the former child star will be joining moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-hosts Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez.

"Let's have some fun," Symone told her fellow co-hosts after hearing the news.

With her recent statements about the $20 bill and thoughts on being gay and biracial, the show will, indeed, have some fun.

2. Iggy's Replacement

Iggy Azalea has cancelled her appearance at this year's Pride Fest in downtown Pittsburgh; news that comes as no surprise after a number of people criticized the rapper for her past homophobic tweets on Twitter.

This is only the latest news in the demise of Azalea's music career after cancelling her Great Escape Tour and having multiple opening acts drop out of her shows.

As for Pride Fest, the show must go on, and Nick Jonas will be the one to step in and make things happen.  The Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh wasted no time in announcing that Jonas will headline the festivities now.

3. Being Miley

Pop star Miley Cyrus is no stranger to controversy or nudity. In the newest issue of Paper magazine (the same publication that brought us Kim Kardashian scantily clad with a champagne bottle), Cyrus is seen nude and hugging her pet pig Bubba Sue.

In the magazine, Cyrus explains coming out to her mother as bisexual at the age of 14 as well.

4. Simpsons Separation

Iconic cartoon couple Homer and Marge Simpson are heading for legal separation. This is according to "The Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean, who revealed the surprising news in an interview with Variety.

Jean laid out the details for everyone.

"In the premiere, it's discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it's an incredible strain on the marriage," he explained to the magazine. "Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who's voiced by Lena Dunham. We'll have cameos from the other women from 'Girls.'"

The separation probably won't last long, but keep your fingers crossed just in case.

5. Sing-A-Long

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" may still be a few months away from happening, but the show's host has been letting us all know how much time and energy it takes to put the late-night talker together. After revealing a new fresh-faced self and band leader Jon Batiste, Colbert has now taken to YouTube to show us what goes into the perfect theme song.

Take a look below to see how things turned out.
