Third teenage suspect arrested for deadly shooting at Stockton's Anderson Park

STOCKTON – A third teenager has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in Stockton in February, police said Wednesday. 

The shooting happened on Feb. 1 at Anderson Park in Stockton on N El Dorado Street around 10 p.m. 

This is where police said they found 17-year-old Julian Martinez suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

On Feb. 18, police said they arrested two teenagers, ages 13 and 16, in connection with the homicide. They were booked into the San Joaquin County Juvenile Hall for homicide-related charges.

On Wednesday, police said they arrested a 14-year-old in connection with the robbery and shooting. 

The teen was already in custody for unrelated weapons charges, but homicide, robbery and weapons-related charges were added, police said.
