Thieves Steal $12,000 Of Fireworks From Rio Linda Little League

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — As fireworks sales get started in the Sacramento region, one group is scrambling to make up for what thieves ripped off.

Thieves stole around $12,000 worth of merchandise from the community little league baseball team's fireworks stand.

The fireworks taken were part of the league's primary fundraiser of the year that helps pay for equipment and uniforms.

If they sold the remaining equipment, the league would only break even.
