The opening of today's installment of the Grant Napear Show featured discussion of the fact that last night's regular season Sunday Night Football game dominated the television ratings of Game 5 of the World Series, which aired simultaneously. Grant also criticized Chicago Bears' defensive end Lamarr Houston for tearing his ACL by celebrating a sack while his team was losing by 25 points to the Patriots. Grant then defended Bruce Bochy, who has been taking flack on social media for questionable managerial decisions in spite of the fact that he has managed San Francisco to two titles in the past five seasons and is on the doorstep of winning his third in that span.
