In the Grant Napear Show's final segment before Monday Night Football's pregame, Grant spoke with Sacramento Kings' General Manager Pete D'Alessandro about the official appeal the Kings have filed with the NBA. D'Alessandro explained that the entirety of the Kings' organization believes it is worth challenging Saturday's loss to the Grizzlies. Memphis won the contest by one point after the final inbound pass appeared to be tipped by Ryan Hollins, though the game clock did not begin counting down until the ball reached the hands of Courtney Lee, who sunk the game-winning layup as the .3 seconds remaining on the game clock expired.
Grant closed the segment by prompting D'Alessandro about the level of satisfaction in Sacramento's front office after the Kings' impressive 6-4 start to their 2014-2015 campaign, Pete revealing contentment, but certainly not surprise.
