The Tampa Bay International auto show comes to town every November and it's a great event to attend. It's right on the water in downtown Tampa, there's plenty of space for the new cars and you can sign up for a free year of Motor Trend magazine and there really isn't a catch. Other large cities also have similar events, but none quite like the one that happens this time of year in New York City. The city is alive in the spring when the smell of urine stained snowbanks transform in to the smell of urine soaked alley ways.
I sent a professional photographer to the NYC show last week, he took many amazing pictures and learned many new things. The most important being, make sure you bring a BMW key fob to the show with you, because they'll let you in the VIP area, high above the floor and away from the hoards of non-BMW owning peasants. Please enjoy the pretty pictures Justin Alexander took with what I assume is a very expensive camera.
Not sure if this is going to show up on Portlandia. (Photo credit: Justin Alexander)
Don't tell anyone, but it's basically a Lamborghini. (Photo credit: Justin Alexander)
