Teen Arrested After Posting Threats To Vacaville School On Twitter

VACAVILLE (CBS13) – Police say a teenager has been arrested after he threatened violence at a Vacaville high school.

According to the Vacaville Police Department, the 16-year-old posted the threats to his Twitter account. Someone saw the threats and reported it to authorities who quickly identified the teen and arrested him.

The teen was reportedly upset that Will C. Wood High School was playing Napa High School in football Friday night. He feels the Napa mascot, the Indians, is racially insensitive.

Exactly what the teen wrote is not clear, but police say he threatened to kill people at Will C. Wood.

Police say the teen does not attend either school.
