Tanker Carrying Concrete Additive Overturns In Waterford

WATERFORD (CBS13) - Crews are working to right a tanker that overturned in Waterford on Thursday morning.

The scene is on Bentley Street. According to Waterford Police Services, the tanker was parked on the street and a support leg somehow failed, causing the tanker to roll over.

The tanker is now leaking, but crews say the substance - believed to be concrete additive - is not hazardous.

A crew from the the Department of Environmental Resources is at the scene.

Police stress there is no danger to the community.
