2 Passengers Killed, Driver Arrested After Crash In Modesto; DUI Suspected
MODESTO (CBS13) - Police say two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Modesto early Wednesday morning.
The scene is on Sylvan Avenue, just east of McHenry Avenue.
HAPPENING NOW (Road Closure): MPD Traffic Officers are investigating a Fatal Collision on Sylvan Ave just East of McHenry. Sylvan Ave is closed down between Bridgeford and McHenry.

A pickup truck crashed off the roadway and into a tree, then caught fire. Modesto police later confirmed that two passengers were killed in the crash.
The driver of the car, 28-year-old Alfonzo Rodriguez-Quintana, is suspected to have been intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was treated at the hospital before being arrested and booked at Stanislaus County Jail.
Officers are still investigating the crash.
