Suspects Throw Rifles From Car During Chase In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police say three people have been detained after a short chase through Sacramento late Thursday morning.

The chase ended near albatross Way and Frienza Avenue.

Police say officers spotted a car that matched the description from a recent burglary.

Officers tried to pull the car over, but it wouldn't yield. During the ensuing chase, police say the suspects threw two rifles from their car.

The chase ended when the driver of the suspect car drove into a dead end.

A total of three people have been detained. Officers are still looking for a fourth suspect.

More weapons have been found in the car, police say. The weapons thrown from the car have been recovered.
