Suspected Rancho Cordova Prowler Arrested

RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) – Police say they have arrested the man of suspected of prowling in a Rancho Cordova neighborhood.

The incident happened on Thursday night. Rancho Cordova Police say a man managed to get into the backyard of a home along the 11700 block of Bagota Way a little before 10 p.m.

The man then started talking to a young girl through her bedroom window.

Another person in the house heard the commotion and must have spooked the man because he soon took off. Friday, police say a person matching the description of the suspect was later spotted thanks to social media posts.

Officers arrested the man – identified as 45-year-old Rancho Cordova resident Sean Michael Deichler – along Aristotle Circle in the Anatolia neighborhood.

Deichler was booked at Sacramento County Jail and is facing charges of peeping and prowling.
