Suspect Shoots Employee Of South Sacramento Business With BB Gun
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – An employee at a south Sacramento business was shot by a suspect wielding a BB gun, police say.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon. According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers were called to a business along the 7100 block of 24th Street for a reported robbery.
At the scene, officers found that an employee had confronted two shoplifters in front of the business and was shot several times by a third suspect. Police say the weapon used was a BB gun and the employee suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers were able to stop the suspect's vehicle nearby and arrested one person on robbery charges.
Police are still investigating the incident.
