Suspect Arrested In Shooting Of West Sacramento Girl, 13
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A suspect has been arrested in the shooting of a 13-year-old girl in West Sacramento.
Sonny Martinez, 39, of Stockton was arrested on Tuesday in Stockton.
Alize Valadez, 13, was left fighting to stay alive from a gunshot to her head on Saturday night.
Alize's aunt says the teen goes to school down the street. But on the weekends, if she's not riding her scooter outside, Alize likes to stay inside on the couch, watching TV.
That's what Alize was doing Saturday night when bullets started flying outside the home. They pierced through the wall and one hit Alize in the head.
