Summer Music Spotlight: Tuesday Night Blues In Todos Santos Plaza

Why wait for a weekend night to get out of the house and enjoy some great music? A weekday break and chance to sway to some cool blues can leave you feeling refreshed and good. Downtown Concord comes even more alive than usual this summer at Todos Santos Plaza, the city's attractive central hub considered the heart of the downtown.

The Tuesday Night Blues Series starts in July and takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The spotlight this summer is on some of the Bay Area's top blues talent aiming to amp up the energy a few notches. The series kicks off with Anthony Paul and Frank Bey on July 1, plus check out the annual Cool Concord Cars show the same night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Other popular lead blues musicians lined up this summer include Franky G., Chris Cain, Jeffrey Marshall and Annie Sampson.

If the live music isn't enough to tempt you, then the array of mouth-watering cuisine cooked up by the visiting food trucks will. The traveling trucks of Off The Grid roll up each Tuesday and roll out delicious dishes including finger-licking-good barbecue.
