Student Big Rig Driver Falls Asleep, Crashes Near Woodland
WOODLAND (CBS13) - A big rig accident is slowing traffic on southbound Interstate 5 near Woodland on Thursday morning.
The incident happened near the County Road 102 exit. A big rig crashed into ditch, causing the trailer to fall on its side.
The big rig driver, a student, apparently fell asleep at the wheel. No injuries have been reported.
Crews are working to get the big rig out of the ditch. Lanes on southbound I-5 near County Road 102 in Woodland will be closed until about 8 a.m. A detour has been set up.
