Stockton Teen Dies After Crashing ATV Into Ditch
STOCKTON (CBS13) – California Highway Patrol says that a Stockton teen riding a 3-wheel ATV has died after crashing into a drainage ditch.
The crash happened Monday afternoon, CHP investigators believe, near Highway 99 and Frontage Road, south of Mariposa Road. The 15-year-old boy was riding a 3-wheeled ATV when he, for some reason, drove off the road and into a drainage ditch.
Investigators say that the teen was fatally injured in the crash, but the scene wasn't found until 3 a.m. Tuesday. The teen's family reported him missing and sheriff's deputies later found the scene.
