Stockton School Bus Driver Helping Kids In Need Of Shoe Laces

STOCKTON (CBS13) – A Stockton school bus driver is making a big difference for many local children.

The driver, Naghina Khan, noticed a child with shoes in need of repair.

After offering to fix them, other children began asking for repairs – and it escalated from there.

"They do different things for me, so this is something I can do for them," Khan said.

Khan says she fixes about five pairs of shoes a week for kids.

"I think showing a little kindness to somebody, especially the youth, it brings back the kindness later when they're grown," Khan said.

Khan has since started the Facebook page Laced with Love for anyone looking to help out her cause.
