Stockton Police Investigating Homicide After Man, 60, Found Shot
STOCKTON (CBS13) - Police are investigating a homicide in Stockton Wednesday morning.
The scene is near Kelley Drive and Warwick Court.
According to the Stockton Police Department, officers originally responded to the area around 5:45 a.m. after a report of a shooting. A 63-year-old woman who had been hit by either a bullet or glass fragment was found at the scene. She was transported and is expected to be OK.
While investigating the area, a 60-year-old unresponsive man was found in the backyard of the home nextdoor.
The man had suffered a gunshot wound, police say. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
No suspect or motive have been identified. Homicide investigators are at the scene.
