Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva Detained At Airport After Returning From China
STOCKTON (CBS13) — Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva was detained at San Francisco International Airport when he came back from a business trip to China.
Silva confirmed to CBS13 he was detained and his electronics were seized, but would not elaborate further.
Silva was coming back from a trip to China in an attempt to bring back business to Stockton, a city that has recently emerged from bankruptcy.
The mayor said he would likely say more about the incident on Friday.
